Solitaire historical wargame covering the history of the Byzantine empire

Constantinople is a solitaire historical wargame covering the millennium-long history of the Byzantine empire, from the foundation of Constantinople in AD330 until its fall in AD1453. You will use military might as well as diplomacy and outright bribery to keep the many opposing forces at bay for as long as possible. Can you outlive the historic Byzantine empire, or will your efforts be relegated to an obscure footnote in the history books?nnConstantinople is not a highly detailed, historically accurate simulation of the history of the Byzantine Empire, but is historically based and gives a sense of the real situation of the Byzantine Empire throughout its existence, and provides some insights into the history surrounding Constantinople and the Byzantine Empire. nnApp is optimized for phones but playable on tablets (just bigger).nnShort gameplay video: https://youtu.be/lBMwh4gbDPwnnOriginal board game design: Steve Ashing (https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgamedesigner/89972/steve-ashing)nBoard game art: Ilya Kudriashov (https://www.flickr.com/photos/ilya_kudriashov/)nMusic: "The Descent" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/nOther sounds: "Medieval Fanfare" tobyk (https://www.freesound.org/people/tobyk/sounds/26198/)nnApp is created with permission from original game designer and graphic artist.nnTerms of use: http://boardnaut.com/terms-of-use.html

Wow, design is simply amazing! Really great digital adaptation as well. Price is symbolic for the value to the player, honestly. No adds, no nothing - pure, clean and simple but thoughtfully though out gameplay. You will enjoy your time!

Solid little solitaire game with decent challenge. Pleasant.

Not a great game, everything is decided by random die roll and it can be very frustrating, you have very little control over it, you're really just trying to play odds and hope you're lucky (I beat it on historical)

kind of buggy. Allows me to remove the furthest group and select when there is a tie unless the far right group included in the furthest. If the far right group is the furthest, whether alone or tied with another group, it does not allow me to select the far right group. I have checked multiple times and I have always had the required resources

Great game. I wouldn't say it's worth $2.99, but I got it at 99¢ and I've got to say it's perfect for the price. A great game to just run through or really agonize over. Aside from the price (which really isn't that big of a deal) I have no issues with the game. Aside from those damn invading Arabs, of course!

Good, quick (play and games), strategic and, fun. No IAP and simple, yet requires planning. This is a great mobile game!

Outstanding!

An extremely simple, but fun, solo game. You have various troops attacking you and you need to hold them off using your scanty resources. At first, things looks easy but eventually the AI will grind you down and you are forced to make difficult decisions. In addition, a card is drawn each turn which can either help you or hurt you. If you can make it through enough rounds, then you will win. There are multiple play modes which provide a way to spice things up. Just be prepared to lose more often than you win!

Solid, clean app implementation of a solo board game. A good challenge with just the right amount of randomness.

Corey Mayo

Smart little game. Very challenging.
